I made this workbook to help me keep up with the tedious process of removing our online PII. When you open the file, enable editing so you can customize it to fit your needs. If you can’t use Excel, here are the not very pretty .PDF files for the sheets:
Start here- Instructions & Lists
Begin with the Start Here Tab and read the slides for instructions. The General Information Tab describes how to use the workbook. Rename the file before you copy and rename the Name sheets. You’ll see my frustration in some of the comments about particular websites. Maybe you’ll react as I did and decide to contact our lawmakers and administrative agencies. We must make changes to start protecting American consumers and individuals from these predatory companies.
Just as I’m not a security expert, I’m also not an Excel expert user. When I first started, I tried to make everything pretty, but gave up after hundreds of sites had to be added. Please forgive the errors, correct what you want, and feel free to share it.
